Editorial photoshoot : an urban spring wedding
In her homage to Spring, poet Amy Gerstler said that the humble thistle ‘revives / your secret belief / in perpetual spring’
Perpetual spring is the vibe Erin Tresize-Wallace of Ecru Floral, brought to The Forge recently for a beautiful spring wedding tablescape shoot. Defiant daffodils, playful fritillaria, and the brightest of ranunculus lit up the room on a bright clear day.

Erin crafts gorgeous blooms and wedding flowers for intimate weddings in Bristol and beyond. Her signature whimsical style fits with spring florals perfectly and it’s always a pleasure to capture her art by the light streaming through our windows here at The Forge.
Crisp white linens and stoneware plates from Bristol ceramicist, Liz Vidal kept the aesthetic minimal allowing for the delicately different shades of petals to shine. Sweet tones of peach, lemon and pearl sat snug against bright orange, golds and trailing green vines. The scents wafting across the open space was a respite we didn’t know we needed.
