Join surface designer Katie Gilles and learn to design and create a Jesmonite Terrazzo tray. Discover all about other ways and formats Jesmonite can be used.

You will learn how to mix the Jesmonite material and how to cast into silicone moulds. Play and experiment with many different colour flecks to give your Jesmonite tray the look of Terrazzo and make your design individual to you.

Whilst your tray dries and cures refreshments will be supplied and there will be a chance to chat to Katie about how to further your practice and to discover all about her field of work.

We will be using Jesmonite AC100 which is an acrylic and resin-based material. It is solvent-free and has no VOC's so it is environmentally friendly.

The final part of the process will to be hand sand and seal your tray, so you can take them home with you.

Tray dimensions are 200mm diameter, 18mm in height.
