Hosted by InsideJapan, join us for an evening with Everett Kennedy Brown; a photojournalist who has worked in Japan for the past 25 years.
Everett Kennedy Brown's work has appeared in most global media including National Geographic, Time, Le Monde, The Times and the New York Times to name just a few. Until late 2012, Everett was the Regional Chief Photographer of the European Press Agency in Tokyo, a position which he held for 10 years.
In between leading InsideJapan's bespoke photography tours, Everett devotes his time to his extraordinary collodion photography. By capturing the many different facets of contemporary Japan using his original camera from the 1870s, Everett creates images which challenge the viewer's perceptions of cultural value, history, time and place. He has a wealth of awe-inspiring stories and stunning photographs.
The evening will include an exhibition of photographs taken in Japan, and a chance to meet fellow travel photography enthusiasts and the InsideJapan travel experts. A welcome drink and light canapes will be included in the ticket price.
