We are excited to be welcoming Lucy from Peas & Needles back again with this brand new modern craft workshop for us. Needle punching is one of the new exciting crafts that keeps popping up on Instagram and its addictive! Once you have tried it you will see why.

Punch needle is a type of embroidery using a hollow needle, you use this needle to punch through the fabric to create loops. It creates an effect similar to a hooked rug which can create an interesting design and texture. 

Lucy will teach you how to use the punch needle, how to transfer your chosen design on to the fabric. There will be a selection of designs for your inspiration or feel free to draw your own. The class will cover how to combine different yarns so you can create different effects and textures. 

Once you are finished your piece you can take it home and either turn it into a wall hanging or make it into a cushion cover, rug, lampshade, bag and many other items.
