Much loved London supper club duo Cook & Baker are bringing their beautiful, candle-lit banquet tables to Bristol for the very first time. With each of their events based on a city or place they have travelled to together, this June they are celebrating the beauty of our very own English countryside here at The Forge.
Join us for an evening of early summer sunshine, refreshing cocktails, and a sumptuous seasonal feast as we transform The Forge into a magical wild English meadow. We often forget that the beautiful countryside we have right on our doorstep is the perfect place for a getaway, and whilst we have been to countless cities around the world together, we can safely say that there is no place like home.
After starting the evening with drinks and canapés, we will be serving a three-course menu celebrating the best of local produce from suppliers within Bristol and the surrounding area. In our usual Cook & Baker style, we will bring together local makers, designers and creatives to help us curate our tables and create our English countryside vision.
We hope for conversations to spark, friendships to be made and stories to be shared over a love of good food and all the little things it brings.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the table!
About Cook & Baker :
Cook & Baker supper clubs, workshops and retreats are a series of carefully curated experiences by Katie and Safia, two best friends who love nothing more than spending time together in cafés and on rooftops, exploring cities and hidden spaces, opposite each other at the table, and side by side in the kitchen. Having met whilst living in Madrid, where they spent their sunny days and balmy nights exploring the city's most beautiful corners, they combine their love of food, design and styling with inspiration from their travels to create unique events in London and beyond. Their tables bring together local makers, from ceramicists and florists to calligraphers and candlemakers, who help them curate stunning spaces and share the magic of the cities and restaurants they have visited around the world with their guests.
