We are delighted to be welcoming back our friends from Sisterhood this April. Sisterhood was the very first event at the Forge when we opened so we are really happy to have Lou & the talented women of the sisterhood team here again. Sisterhood run retreats, supper & workshops for women.
April is our SISTERHOOD 'self-care' month. And we are kicking it off with a beautiful event with you in mind.
YOGA WITH CLEM OF YOGA BRUNCH CLUB
We will start the day with an hour of gentle yet restorative yoga, with the brilliant Clem Balfour, founder of Yoga Brunch Club. Clem will be bringing her much loved class to our Sisterhood event and will be focusing on stretching and relaxation - perfect for beginners. Please don't worry if you are a complete novice at yoga, just come with an open mind and please remember to bring your own yoga mat. (we do have a few going spare, so not to worry if you haven't one).
MEDITATION & CHINESE MEDICINE WITH GEMMA OF THE QUIET HEART
After yoga, Chinese medicine practitioner and mindfulness coach, Gemma, The Quiet Heart, will guide us through gentle meditation and will be teaching us how to look after ourselves in early Spring. - Please bring a blanket to cover yourself with, to stay warm.
A SUMPTUOUS BRUNCH TO NOURISH YOUR BODY COOKED BY STEPH BOOTE
Steph will be cooking a hearty vegetarian menu for our brunch. To fill your body after your exercise and meditation.
KITCHEN BEAUTY WITH LIHA BEAUTY
After brunch Abi and Liha from LIHA will share the art of kitchen beauty. Throughout the session you will learn the benefits of the formulas for bases using Shea butter and coconut oil, and the basics of making aromatherapy perfumes and tinctures and take away your own handmade natural deodorant and your choice off body butter or scrub. Finally, you will name and make a label for your concoctions and take them home to cherish. You will leave feeling confident with your new creative skill, and never be short of some self-care on a rainy afternoon again.
