Join us to celebrate International Women's Day 2018, in this historic year that marks 100 years since the first women in the UK gained the right to vote.It took the extraordinary actions of women, girls and their supporters to bring about this historic milestone in the fight for equality.

In this spirit, Murmuration, in partnership with the Forge and Creative Youth Network, are bringing together brilliant creative women and girls in Bristol to connect, inspire and celebrate this historic moment.

Murmuration is a new community of UK women and girls committed to creating a more gender equal and sustainable world.

We create experiences, tools and content that bring together diverse women and girls to build a more fulfilled, equal and sustainable world. To create their own awe-inspiring murmurations.

Our community combines three elements to support women and girls to be happy, healthy, confident, fulfilled and importantly, empowered:

1. The power of an intergenerational community

2. The potential of mentoring and coaching

3. The very latest science, insights and practices on wellbeing and resilience

In true Murmuration style, this International Women’s Day event will highlight the unique and powerful potential of bringing together women and girls across generations to connect, support and inspire. Join us on 8th March at The Forge for an evening of community building across female generations. All in support of a more gender equal world.

All proceeds from tickets will be donated to support a new project from the Creative Youth Network: providing a female only support group for young Somalian girls in the Barton Hill area of Bristol.
