Would you like to know how to extract dye colours from local flowers and plants to transform your clothes? Do you like learning about plants, textiles and herbalism?
Experience the alchemical process of using botanical dyes from fresh flowers, to transform silk cloth & create herbal infused textile prints.
Join us for an evening with botanical + mineral artist, Babs Behan to discover and enjoy the therapeutic art of eco-printing, using healing flowers and plants to transfer botanical inks, to create direct colour and print on cloth.
Learn the contemporary "bundle dye" process, for direct application of plant dye colour, into cloth, using a simple steaming technique and discover some of the healing qualities of the plants we work with and how they can affect our mood, health and wellness.
